Limited Lifetime Warranty

Golden Designs, Inc. sauna products are supported by a Limited Lifetime Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship beginning on the original purchase date. Heating elements and electronic components are covered for a period of up to five (5) years, while the wood structure and radio components carry a limited one (1) year warranty. This warranty applies only to products manufactured or distributed by Golden Designs, Inc. and delivered within the continental United States or Canada. Coverage extends exclusively to the original purchaser and remains valid only at the original installation location. Proof of purchase showing the date of sale is required to obtain warranty service. Warranty protection ends upon expiration of the applicable coverage period, transfer of ownership, or relocation of the sauna. Products with missing, altered, or defaced serial numbers, or altered proof of purchase documentation, are not eligible for warranty service.

This sauna is intended for indoor installation only. Outdoor placement or exposure to environmental conditions including rain, snow, sunlight, wind, or extreme temperatures will void warranty coverage. Damage resulting from modifications or alterations to the sauna or any of its components will also void the warranty. Warranty service may require defective parts to be returned to Golden Designs, Inc. for evaluation prior to replacement approval. Customers are responsible for prepaying all shipping charges, export taxes, customs duties, insurance, or any additional transportation-related expenses associated with returning or receiving parts.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by negligence, misuse, abuse, unauthorized repairs, improper installation, or alterations. Additional exclusions include the application of paints or lacquer finishes, placement on non-approved surfaces, outdoor applications, failure to follow product instructions, and normal wear or weathering conditions. Surface cracking or minor separation of wood panels is not considered a defect, as these characteristics naturally occur due to expansion and contraction of kiln-dried wood in sauna environments.

Golden Designs, Inc. shall not be responsible for loss of use of the sauna or any related secondary, incidental, or consequential expenses or damages. Under no circumstances shall Golden Designs, Inc. or its representatives be held liable for injury to persons or damage to property arising from the use or inability to use the product.

Limited Lifetime Warranty: 5 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use on heating elements and electronics. The wood structure has a 1 year limited warranty.

Order Processing

• Saunas typically ship from the warehouse within 2 business days.
• Tracking information will be provided once your order leaves the warehouse.

Delivery Details

• Complimentary curbside freight delivery within the continental United States.
• The freight carrier will contact you 24–48 hours prior to delivery.
• Delivery is typically scheduled within a 4-hour window.
• Liftgate service is included — the carrier will lower the pallet to ground level at curbside or driveway.
• Customer is responsible for moving the product from curbside to the installation location.

Additional Shipping Charges

• Storage: $125 per day after the 3rd day at destination terminal

Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted under the following conditions:
• The item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect
• Damage or issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
• The product is returned within 30 days of delivery
• The item is unused and includes all original packaging and accessories
• A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number has been obtained prior to return

Used or installed products cannot be returned unless defective upon arrival.

New, Opened/Assembled, Never Used (original packaging required):

Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled before shipment for a full refund.
• Orders must be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase.
• Once shipped, cancellations are not possible — the return process above applies.

Refund Processing

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after the returned product has been received at the warehouse and inspected.
• All shipping, handling, and restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

Hydration

Staying hydrated is the most important rule of sauna use. Drink at least 1–3 pints of water before, during, and after each session. A helpful guideline: divide your body weight in half and aim for that many ounces of water daily. Never consume alcohol during a sauna session.

Before Your Session

• Wait at least 1–2 hours after eating before beginning a session — this allows your body to achieve the best results without diverting blood flow for digestion.
• Do not apply skin lotions or oils before or during your session, as they will inhibit sweating and clog pores. Apply your favorite skincare products after cooling down and showering.

Temperature & Timing

• Set your sauna to 115–135°F for warm-up. Begin your session when the interior reaches 90–110°F.
• Start with 10–20 minute sessions every other day for the first 1–2 weeks.
• Do not exceed 60 minutes per session.
• It's normal to not sweat much during your first 2–3 sessions — your body needs time to adjust.

During Your Session

• Use towels on the bench, under your feet, and on your body to absorb sweat and protect the wood.
• Stretch gently to improve flexibility and range of motion.
• Massage congested or tight muscle areas to promote oxygen flow and healing.
• Lightweight clothing or a swimsuit is recommended — more skin exposure encourages better perspiration.

After Your Session

• Cool down for approximately 10 minutes — sit quietly with a towel or robe until perspiration stops.
• Take a warm shower and exfoliate your skin to remove sweat residue, old skin cells, and toxins. Finish with cool water to close pores.
• Remove all wet towels from the sauna immediately after your session.
• Turn on the oxygen ionizer for 30 minutes with the door closed to keep the sauna fresh and sanitary.

Routine Maintenance

• Vacuum or sweep the sauna weekly to remove dust and debris.
• Clean benches and backrests with a mild baking soda or diluted vinegar solution — never use chemical cleaners.
• For deeper cleaning, fine-grit sandpaper can be used to remove stubborn stains.
• Never apply paint, oil, lacquer, or chemical products to the interior wood.

Listen to Your Body

If you feel lightheaded, nauseous, or develop a headache during a session, end the session immediately. An increase in heartbeat of up to 30% above resting pulse is generally considered safe. Body temperature should not exceed 102°F.
